I found this photo while scrolling on Facebook, posted by a great local studio- Studio Ink. THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS ATROCITY.Their comment was/is as follows:
"We’re not one to bash anyone’s tattoos, other shops, etc but WOW!!!! This dude had an appointment with us yesterday, but couldn’t wait the 2 days for us to get to him. Tuesday he went to another shop and spent money on this!!! Yes this actually came from a “SHOP” not a kitchen and yes he actually paid money for it. Now he will actually be paying more money to have it fixed when it heals. People please do your research before you get tattooed! Regardless of where you go! This is not a cry out to only spend your hard earned money at Studio Ink, just a painful reminder that no matter where you go, always check look into the artist before you get tattooed. I can’t believe this cat even works in a shop much less owns one!!! All I can say is wow!!!!!! I’m not saying I’ve never done a bad tattoo because I have, but our portfolios are filled with work that WE ACTUALLY DONE!”

Is this what the state looks like? It looks like a house key. The yellow lines are all over the place and wobbly. Submitted by Pluto

I’ve know this girl for awhile, she is really lovely and naive as you can see by her tats. The post she did with this was “All my ink since people are asking how many and where they are, so here you go #ink #addiction" All these tats were done by a "friend" because she is underage and also has a 2year old son…. yeah.Top left rose: sleeve on left sideTop right: tramp stampMiddle right: upper right arm (mum and baby brother)Bottom left: left forearmMiddle on bottom: right wrist (childs name)Bottom right: Left thigh

So I got this done at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo. Before I got my tattoo done, I did research on the tattoo shop who was going to be there and all of their artists (in case I didn’t get the one I wanted). I got a female who worked there who seemed confident in her work. I saw her portfolio and all of it was very well done stuff. She claimed to be in the industry for over 20 years. I got this done and it was absolutely painful. I was screaming/laughing the whole time (I even drew in a crowd).I looked over and saw that it was faded but didn’t say anything (which I should have). Once it healed it looked like this. Completely faded in certain areas, lines aren’t straight, and chunks of colour is missing. It’s a simple design. How could any body screw it up?

When are people going to learn that house tattoos are never a good idea?

Hey, remember Boondock Saints? Yeah, that really terrible movie about two psychos who kill people because because God tells them to? I bet you thought their tattoos were sweet but you probably weren’t dumb enough to affix them indelibly to your body. 18-year-old me was!
It does, however, serve a very fun purpose: whenever someone comments about how cool they think it is, I know for a fact that is a person I will never have any interest in talking to ever.

Okay, this guy tattooed out of his house for awhile, then decided to open up his own shop in my small town. every piece on his page is just so bad, but i had to share this one because of “Put away childish things away.” He ADVERTISES this tattoo. and people comment on it positively, i guess not seeing the error??
